I am a High School English teacher living in Berkeley, California who greatly enjoys the process of coaching young writers. The college entrance essay is a truly singular and special piece of writing that must reflect your student’s character, intellect, and personality. It is not uncommon for students to struggle with this essay. It requires an insightful personal narrative, and a rhetorical style rarely taught in high school assignments.
